Stipa Cloud is web-based platform for storing and analyzing data conforming to the Stipa Data Collection Specification. The creators of Stipa Cloud ("we", "us", "our") provide the platform (hereafter, the "Application") as a for-profit subscription service. By using the Application in any fashion, you agree to all Terms of Use described in this document.
Although we consider the Application to be best-in-class for its intended purpose, we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, adequacy, validity, or completeness of the Application. Under no circumstances shall we have any liability to you for any loss or damage of any kind resulting from the use of the Application. This includes the loss of any data and associated data collection costs.
We reserve the right to modify the Application, terminate the availability of the Application, and terminate the subscription of any user at any time. In addition, we reserve the right to modify the services included in a subscription tier, or terminate the availability of a subscription tier, including a free tier, at any time. Registered users shall be notified via email 90 days prior to the permanent termination of the Application or any modification of the Application that permanently effects user access to data they have submitted to the Application. Non-permanent disruptions to Application availability are exempt from this requirement. We reserve the right to delete any user data associated with the Application after this period.
We may gather the following basic information about your use of the Application: (1) the Internet domain and IP address from which you access the Application, (2) the date and time you access the Application, (3) the web pages you visit, and (4) your interactions, such as mouse clicks, with individual elements of a web page. We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics to collect, store, and analyze user interactions with the Application.
Some personal information is required to create an account with the Application. This information is limited to first name, last name, email address, and password. All personal information submitted to the Application is encrypted during storage. We are not responsible or liable for any personal data submitted to the Application by an Application user beyond that user's first name, last name, email address, and password. If you choose to submit data to the Application, you take sole responsibility for ensuring compliance with any applicable laws and policies governing the storage and management of that data.
The Application is hosted on a leading cloud service provider. All user data submitted to the Application are encrypted during storage and protected by the security posture of the cloud services provider. By using the Application, you ackowledge that you understand the access control mechanisms of the Application and assume full responsibility for any unwanted distribution of data that you manage using the Application.
